myDiviMax is designed with a local-first privacy model. All portfolio data — your stock selections, dividend estimates, and financial projections — is stored locally in an encrypted file on your own device. This data is never transmitted to our servers and we have no access to it.
Your financial information belongs to you. We have no ability to view, access, or recover it.
When you create an account or sign in, we collect and store only the minimum information necessary to operate the service:
We do not collect, store, or have access to your portfolio holdings, stock selections, dividend data, or any financial information you enter into the app.
Your local data file is encrypted using AES-256-GCM, with an encryption key derived directly from your password using a key derivation function. Because the key is derived from your password — which we never store — we have no technical ability to decrypt your data file.
Your account password is stored in our database as a secure hash using PHP's bcrypt algorithm. We cannot recover or view your password.
myDiviMax retrieves publicly available stock and dividend data through third-party financial APIs (including Finnhub and Polygon.io). When you look up a stock symbol in the app, that symbol is sent to these services as part of a standard API request.
These queries contain only the stock ticker symbol — no personal information, account details, or financial context is included. The data returned is publicly available market information.
myDiviMax uses a minimal session cookie to keep you signed in to your account on this website. This cookie contains only a session identifier and no personal data.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or analytics tools that identify you across other websites. We do not display advertisements.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for commercial or marketing purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models or for any purpose other than operating the myDiviMax service.
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us and we will process your request promptly.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of myDiviMax after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
